Information Security Foundation
The objective of this course is to prepare you for the EXIN Information Security Foundation based on ISO/IEC 27001 exam. It will teach you the basic concepts of information security and their relationships. You will learn which physical, technical and organizational measures are necessary to protect information, and what the importance and impact is of legislation and regulations.

It is a Foundation level course; there are no prerequisite courses.
The target audience consists of organization members who process information, small business owners who need to have some basic knowledge of information security, and (future) professionals just getting started in information security.
The course has approximately 14 hours' worth of video material; total study load is approximately 56 hours, depending on existing knowledge. There are no applicable exemptions.
There are no additional costs for required books or other study materials; the e-book Foundations of Information Security Based on ISO 27001 and ISO 27002 is included in the course fee.
Once you have passed the Foundation exam, you may want to consider preparing for the exam Information Security Management Professional based on ISO/IEC 27001, for which the Foundation exam is a prerequisite.
